Klub Żak (organizer of Gdansk Dance Festival)

We can host a person or a group of 2-4 people, who will work on a contemporary dance or dance theatre performance, or do choreographic research. We can offer technical set-up and help for result presentation, work in progress, or a premiere as an addition to the residency.

The workspace will be available Mon-Fri 8:00 – 17:00. On weekends, study visits to other city institutions of culture and sightseeing could be arranged.

Information about the technical parameters of the venue: 

• Dimensions: stage space 9 x 10 x 6 m (width / depth / height) + audience area
• Wooden sprung floor with/without black/white marley
• Wi-fi connection
• Basic Sound System
• Help of sound and light technicians and a professional light and sound system for a work in progress or other public presentation if needed.
• Cafe with good meals on site
• Garden and cinema

Accommodation: No rooms are available on site. Accommodation can be provided nearby.
