Looking for time, space and new connections to take your creative work further? Our Artist Residencies give artists and creative professionals the opportunity to spend time in another Visegrad country, develop new ideas and connect with the local artistic scene.
We welcome applications from a wide range of creative fields – from visual arts, dance and performance to writing, design, fashion, journalism, new media and other creative practices. Individual artists and artist groups are welcome to apply by 15 October, 2026.
Whether you want to explore a new idea, meet fellow artists or experience the creative scene in another Visegrad country, a residency can be a chance to step outside your usual environment and see your work from a new perspective.
Visual and Sound Artists Residencyfacilitate mobility and artistic exchanges of V4 citizens in the fields of visual and sound arts, including design, music, video and film, new media and mixed media;
Performing Artists Residencysupport contemporary theater and dance by providing opportunities to host artists and companies from/in V4 countries;
Literary Residencydevelop and promote V4 literature by providing support to the work and mobility of talented writers of fiction and non-fiction, poets, essayists, critics as well as literary translators, publicists and journalists from V4 countries;
Visual Artists Residency in New Yorkprovide artists with the chance to be inspired in a variety of spectacular artistic settings of Brooklyn at the International Studio & Curatorial Program;
Fashion Residency in Milanopens up unique opportunities for newcomers, experts, and researchers from the Visegrad Four countries in the fields of fashion, design, and related areas. It offers research and "live fashion" in the context of individual research supported by lectures and experiences with Accademia Costume & Moda.
