Solar energy for teens

Students from Vocational Electrical School in Lipník nad Bečvou (CZ) with peers from Secondary Vocational School in Žarnovica (SK) met to develop an innovative education model that helps their schoolmates evaluate the effectiveness of static and adaptive solar panel installations.

The value of this project lay in its complementary approach – Slovak students took charge of designing and building the mechanical components of both models, while their Czech counterparts brought the systems to life through programming. This cross-border division of expertise created a perfect synergy between practical engineering and digital innovation.

The project unfolded across three dynamic mobilities – two intensive sessions in Žarnovica and one in Lipník nad Bečvou, allowing students to work together in both environments and truly experience international collaboration.

This project exemplifies how cross-border collaboration can spark innovation, build lasting friendships, and create tangible solutions for understanding sustainable energy.
